Situated in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, Ogwen Cottage is ideally situated to utilise Adventurous Activities to fulfil the Every Child Matters and SEAL agendas.

Part of Birmingham’s Outdoor Learning Service, Ogwen provides a unique residential experience with world class venues for climbing, kayaking and mountain walking within easy reach. The nearby Isle of Anglesey provides a range of sites for sea level traversing and sea kayaking.

The majority of Birmingham’s secondary schools use Ogwen for curriculum subjects such as GCSE and A Level PE and Geography in addition to Adventurous Activity courses. All courses are geared towards PSHE and Citizenship.

Owned by Birmingham since 1964, Ogwen combines the best of tradition with modern developments and is nationally recognised as a leader in the provision of high quality Outdoor Education.
